Fairfax Classic Monoflap Dressage Saddle Black

17 Inches:43cm
17.5 Inches:44cm
18 Inches:46cm

A monoflap dressage that offers good support and a professional close-contact feel. This will suit you if you find bigger knee blocks restrictive or uncomfortable.

The block is sized so as not to interfere with the rider's seat or balance but, instead, to enhance stability and position.
The forward seat means you will be able sit up through your core in a true dressage seat.

Multiple girthing options - unique to a dressage monoflap - will help achieve optimum fit and stability to all types of conformations. This long-awaited saddle is the perfect complement to the best-selling Fairfax Classic Monoflap XC, and is sure to become equally popular.
Handmade in England
Made in Walsall, England by highly skilled Master Saddlers using the finest, most luxurious hide and butt leather.

  • Changeable Gullet Bars
Seven* changeable gullet bar width options, in half width fitting increments, allow the selection of the exact width for the horse's profile.
  • British Wool Flocking
  • 100% British wool flocking provides superior softness and comfort for the horse
  • Prolite®-lined panel

The wool panels are lined with a layer of Prolite® for proven pressure distribution, while still allowing for traditional re-flocking on site.
Begin in the neutral position using the second and third billet.
If the saddle shifts forward when the horse is ridden, switch to the first and third billet.

If the saddle is still moving forwards, pull the first billet out of the sleeve in the flap and slide it through the slots at the top and bottom of the leg of the panel.

Never, under any circumstances, use the first and second billets as this will unbalance the saddle.
If you have purchased your saddle new, it will come with a tube of Rapide Leathergel. Apply a generous coat of Rapide before first use, using a soft cloth or sheepskin mitt.

Any dirt etc should be removed with a damp cloth after use.
Then re-apply Leathergel at least once a week to dry, clean leather.
Never use wet tack.
Do NOT use any products containing alcohol (such as spray soap), glycerine (eg saddle soap) or oil (including neatsfoot) on this saddle. Any colour loss or damage to the leather caused by these products will not be covered by the saddle’s guarantee.
If your saddle gets wet (in the rain or on the XC course for eg) allow the leather to dry naturally (do not use external heat sources).
Check regularly that all four gullet bolts and the two panel screws remain tight.
Rapide Leathergel is readily available online. This is the only product we recommend for the care and maintenance of your Fairfax saddle.
