At Aitken’s Saddlery we are proud of our order turnaround times and work hard to ensure the best possible service. Our shipping policy has been developed to provide a fast, convenient, and safe shopping experience for all our customers.
We are NOT a drop-shipping company and hold all our stock in our Brisbane store. We dispatch every weekday, and once your order has been received our staff will pack your order and organise shipping the same day. If you urgently require your purchase to be dispatched on the day you order it, we suggest that you call us to organise express shipping for your parcel.
Free Postage - Customer orders over $100 are eligible for free standard shipping within Australia. Order value is determined as the final ‘to pay’ value at check out after discounts and rewards vouchers are applied.
Standard Domestic Shipping - Flat rate $12.95.
Express Post – please call our staff (07) 3209 7506 during business hours to calculate postage and organise delivery.
Within New Zealand: (4-6 working days)
We are now able to offer our New Zealand customers $18.95 flat-rate shipping on orders under 2kg. For orders heavier than 2kg the following rates apply:

What are the expected delivery time frames?
Once you’ve received your order confirmation email, please allow:
- Metro delivery: 2 - 5 business days
- Regional delivery: 5 - 7 business days
- Remote delivery: 7 - 14 business days
Allow 4 business days from placing your order, for the delivery details to be confirmed by email.
We always strive to ensure on-time delivery, but there may be instances when packages may be delivered past the estimated date.
Breakage in shipping policy:
We take great care when packing all deliveries to ensure that our customers find their order in the same condition that we send it. If you receive your products in a damaged condition, please email email@example.com with your order number and photos of the condition of the products within a week of collection. If an item is deemed to have been damaged in transit we will replace it with like kind at no extra shipping cost to the customer.
If you are unhappy with the condition of your product and it has not been damaged in transit, please refer to our refunds and returns policy.
