This is a closed in chain cover which is made of leather. It helps keep the curb chain place and includes a slot for a fly link where a lip strap is used if required.

We recommend: Creaming of this Chain cover as it will make it more comfortable for your horse approximately every six to eight weeks. Saddle soap after each use to remove the sweat which helps prolong the life of the leather. Always ensure that you wash the saddle soap off your leather otherwise the leather will crack.
