Research has shown that commonly used rollers exert extremely high pressures directly on the spinal processes and when used in conjunction with side-reins or other training aids the pressures are even higher.
This roller has been designed to alleviate pressures on the processes and either side of the spine, so encouraging the youngster to use its back properly and strengthen its back musculature in preparation for being ridden.
Like the Fairfax race exercise saddle, this roller has an adjustable gullet bar so can be altered to suit the width of your horses. Fitted with a selection of robust rings and balanced to prevent it “shooting” up the youngster’s neck this saddle can be used with our girth and race pad to prepare the horse for being saddled.
