Saddlefitting Terms and Conditions

By booking a saddle fitting with Aitken's Saddlery, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Payment

  • All saddle fitting appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • Your appointment is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Our Commitment

  • We will make every reasonable effort to attend and complete your scheduled appointment.
  • If Aitken's Saddlery is unable to fulfil your appointment due to illness, emergency, unsafe weather conditions, vehicle issues or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the choice of:
    • Rescheduling your appointment to the next available suitable date; or
    • Receiving a full refund of your booking fee.

Customer Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  • Cancellations or reschedule requests made more than 48 hours before the appointment will receive the full value of the booking as an Aitken's Saddlery online store voucher, valid for 3 years.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend the appointment (no-show), will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee.
  • Store vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

Horse & Property Requirements

To ensure a safe and efficient saddle fitting:

  • Horses must be sound enough to be assessed and handled safely.
  • Horses should be clean and ready for the appointment.
  • The owner, rider or a nominated competent handler must be present throughout the fitting.
  • A safe, level area suitable for saddle fitting must be available.

If the saddle fitter determines that conditions are unsafe or unsuitable to complete the fitting, the appointment may be postponed or cancelled.

Travel & Access

Please ensure the property is accessible and provide any relevant access instructions before your appointment.

Saddle Adjustments

Where appropriate, minor saddle adjustments may be completed during the appointment. Additional workshop adjustments, repairs or flocking may incur additional charges.

Limitation of Service

A saddle fitting is an assessment based on the information available at the time of the appointment. Horse shape, condition, workload and rider factors can change over time and may affect saddle fit. Ongoing assessments may be required as these factors change.

By booking a saddle fitting with Aitken's Saddlery, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
