The Bay Roan Mustang Foal is a part of the Collecta Range of horse toys which are made from the handmade sculptures of Deborah McDermont. Deborah is a sculptor living in Southern California. As a sculptor she observes the anatomy movement and expressions of the horses as well as their unique qualities that make each horse individual.

Native American people readily integrated use of the horse into their cultures. Among the most capable horse-breeding native tribes of North America were the Comanche, the Shoshoni, and the Nez Perce.
