The Grey Fjord Foal is a part of the Collecta Range of horse toys which are made from the handmade sculptures of Deborah McDermont. Deborah is a sculptor living in Southern California. As a sculptor she observes the anatomy movement and expressions of the horses as well as their unique qualities that make each horse individual.

The Fjord horse is strong enough for heavy work, such as plowing fields or pulling timber, yet light and agile enough to be a good riding horse.

The breed's conformation differs from many other breeds in that it is a blend of draft horse muscling and bone, with smaller size and greater agility.
