The Dartmoor Hill Mare is a part of the Collecta Range of horse toys which are made from the handmade sculptures of Deborah McDermont.Deborah is a sculptor living in Southern California. As a sculptor she observes the anatomy movement and expressions of the horses as well as their unique qualities that make each horse individual.

Dartmoor is a particularly hardy breed with excellent stamina. Over the centuries it has been used as a working animal by local tin miners and quarry workers.
